From the east side to the west side and all around the town – it's "extremely easy" to get anywhere from this "utilitarian" airport lodging on a Highway 1 junction served by public transit and a free shuttle; "comfortable" rooms offer "beautiful views" of San Francisco Bay (and the air traffic control towers), "nothing is too much trouble" for the "polite" staff and even the restaurant is considered a "great value"; but a handful of nonsmokers snap over the cigarette "odor" and even more complain about the $15-a-day parking charge.

Nice hotel, good size rooms that could use refurbishing in the near future. Beds are very comfortable. Parking was to expensive at $18.00 per night, $10.00 would have been fair.

Rooms could have been cleaner.
Great location on bay, far enough from airport to be quieter but close enough to be able to get there quickly. Large rooms, wonderful beds, food was good if you had room service or restaurant.

The room key using to enter and exit, the parking lot must have the magnetic strip facing up for function, the desk clerk never explained to the clients, so many of us got stuck at the parking gate!

The maid service was very helpful and friendly.
$16 per day parking for hotel guests. I understand parking fees for inner city properties, but parking at this hotel should be free.
This hotel met most of my expectations and was very comfortable and staff was very friendly but the parking charges were a real turn off.

The hotel dining room had a wonderful wine list.
It was a bit hard to find by car.
Above average for a Doubletree. Close to the bay with a jogging/walking trail. We felt safe there. The area is full of only hotels and a couple of eating establishments. Great view of planes landing on 28L/R at SFO...We had a room looking over the bay right at the airport...Noise was not an issue. Didn't hear a thing. Great staff. ...read more
